My name is Keisha and I am a creative  35 year old married mom of two that has a passion and joy for doing natural hair. In my spare time I  like to think up new and creative natural hairstyles for my current clients as well as potentially new clientele. I find that with many women that decide to go natural they usually get frustrated after running out of  hair ideas and run back to a perm. I am a natural hairstylist and a loctician that   specializes in creating unique natural hairstyles for women that are transitioning over from perm to natural and even for those that are not transitioning and just want to give their hair a much needed break .     I also specialize in making very natural looking dreadlock extensions for men,women and children.I can assure you that when I am doing your hair that you will have my full attention as I do not take walk in's nor do I overbook. I do not do any services that requires me to add heat or chemicals of any kind to your hair..                                  

I am located in a cozy,serene and tranquil, upscale hair salon named Salon Ramsey which is located in an artsy multi-cultural community  called the Virginia Highlands (Midtown)in Atlanta Georgia .The salon is 5 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 20  min. from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

I am a Loctician/Natural Hair Stylist with 15  years of knowledge and experience in the cultivation and grooming of dreadlocks as well as natural hair care.I am also an on-going continuing student of African Holistics Health and Studies.I am very knowledgeable about hair as this is a business for me and not a hustle nor a hobby. I want to help your hair grow and restore your natural hair back to it's original beautiful  state of origin.I also specialize in a variety of different natural hairstyles ranging from dreadlock extensions to twist styles. Over the years I have attended several natural hair seminars and natural hair shows and as a result I have learned many styles as well as self teaching myself  how to make very natural looking  dreadlock extensions.

   I have a steady clientele of  absolutely wonderful mature men and women who:

The consultation process is very important.  It is at this time that you and I will agree on your styling preference.The same exact pictures that you see on this website are in my possession at the salon.When I see you I am able to establish what would absolutely look and work the best for you and your hair.It is crucial that all of your questions and concerns are adequately and satisfactorily addressed before you sit in my chair  on your appointment day.Please have an open mind to suggestions from me that will accentuate your God-given beauty. Keep in mind that once you walk in the salon for your appointment, it’s your time,and I want you to leave happy with your style. Please remember that when your services are complete and you leave the salon,  you agree that you are pleased with the services. This is important because all payments for all of my  services are final and non refundable.  Cost   $5.00

                                         Preparation for locking your hair:

 Don’t wash your hair with conditioner for two to six weeks prior to locking.If possible don’t wash your hair with shampoo for three days or more leading up to locking day (getting your hair wet is fine).If you have decided to change the color of your hair at the same time, it works best to do this about three days before – most hair dyes have a conditioning component and if done the morning of the locking it can make it more difficult to tighten your locs.The ideal condition for hair about to be locked is strong, healthy & dry.
